ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) — Police say a two-year-old boy who had been reported missing was found drowned in his grandparents swimming pool.

Caidyn Bugby was playing outside at his grandparent's Anderson home Sunday as they did yard work.

Madison County Sheriff's Department Maj. Brian Bell says the grandparents called police to report the boy missing. Officers found the boy at the bottom of the family's in-ground swimming pool.

Emergency personnel spent about 40 minutes trying to resuscitate the boy.

Police say the boy probably entered the pool area through an unlocked gate.

Bell says the grandparents are not facing any charges.
