GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say two men have been found dead inside a Grand Haven jewelry store, including the shop's 61-year-old owner and a 77-year-old customer who was shot in the head.

Investigators have not determined how R.K. Jewelers owner Robert Karell died. His body was found Wednesday afternoon in his office in the back of the store.

Officials identified the customer as Louis Paparella of Muskegon.

Grand Haven Public Safety Director Dennis Edwards says there were no obvious signs of a robbery or struggle.

Stacey Karell, who sometimes works at the store, discovered the body of her father and the other victim when she returned from a late lunch.

Now THESE are the kinds of criminals Michigan should have the "Truth in Sentencing" law for..not unintentional or negligent offenders like people who get into accidents..even if they have been drinking...accidents are NOT pre planned conspired intentional acts.
