SUNMAN, Ind. (AP) — Indiana State Police say a man found dead of an apparent suicide in a southeast Indiana apartment had called police to say that he had shot another man who was also found dead.

Police say they found 46-year-old Galen W. Holland of Aurora dead in the apartment in Sunman, about 30 miles west of Cincinnati, early Tuesday morning after a six hour standoff. Police say he was dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound when police entered the apartment about 1:30 a.m.

Investigators believe Holland is the man who called police around 7:30 p.m. Monday, saying that he had shot 30-year-old Brian Lacey at a trailer court near Aurora. When officers arrived there, they found Lacey dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
