TINLEY PARK, Ill. (AP) — Law enforcement officials investigating five slayings at a south suburban Chicago clothing store earlier this year say a woman was about to enter the store during the shootings.

WLS-TV in Chicago reports the woman told police she had her hand on the door of the Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park. Police say the woman didn't see anything suspicious and could not provide authorities with a description of the suspect.

About 50 law enforcement officials working on the case met Friday in Tinley Park to review what they've learned since the February 2nd slayings of five women in the store. They say they hope police around the country can help them.

The Lane Bryant store remains closed.

Did she stop because she heard the shots? Or did she just change her mind about shopping?
