WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — A West Lafayette nurse has pleaded guilty to stealing pain medication from nursing home patients.

Court records show Holly Pine pleaded guilty Friday to forgery, theft and practicing nursing while on a suspended license. The Indiana attorney general's office says Pine stole OxyContin from two patients at the nursing home where she worked at the time, then falsified records to cover up the theft. Pine lost her job at the nursing home in January of 2007.

She's scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 14.
