FLINT, Mich. (AP) — Flint police say one of its officers was arresting one drunken driver when a second drunk driver hit and injured him, then drove off.

Genesee County authorities issued a warrant Wednesday charging 37-year-old Donielle R. Jackson of Mount Morris with failure to use care for a stopped emergency vehicle. The charge carries up to two years in prison.

Police say Jackson crashed into the back of Officer Michael Ross' patrol car Sept. 11, throwing him about 10 feet. He was arresting a drunken driving suspect after a crash. Ross' injuries weren't life-threatening.

Police tell The Flint Journal she fled but was arrested nearby.

There is no listed telephone number for Jackson in Mount Morris.
