INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — No injuries were reported when a jet with 117 passengers on board skidded off a taxiway at Indianapolis International Airport.

Passengers on the Delta plane told Indianapolis TV station WTHR that the plane had just landed and was slowly taxiing to the terminal when it slid into the grass shortly after midnight Wednesday.

The plane was headed to Milwaukee from Chicago, but was diverted to Indianapolis because the Milwaukee airport was closed due to weather.

The plane was not damaged.

The accident occurred as freezing rain and sleet made travel hazardous throughout Indiana
