COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP) — Columbus police are searching for an armed man who entered a pharmacy and threatened three employees before tying them up and fleeing with stolen narcotics.

Police continued searching Sunday for the man who entered Doctors Park Pharmacy on Saturday and threatened the three pharmacy employees before obtaining narcotics.

He then tied up the women in a room with zip ties and fled in one of their vehicles.

Columbus Police spokesman Lt. Joe Richardson says the employees — two 16-year-olds and a 26-year-old — freed themselves using a box cutter and summoned police.

He says the women were very upset after the experience. One of the women was treated for a cut on her arm she received when trying to free herself.
