CHICAGO (AP) — Hundreds of train passengers have been delayed after an Amtrak train leaving Chicago's Union Station partially derailed.

Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari says Wednesday's derailment caused no injuries.

Two sets of wheels on a train headed for Los Angeles came off the tracks as the train was departing around 3:15 p.m.

Crews are working to remove the train from the tracks. Magliari expects Amtrak service to be fully restored by Thursday morning.

The derailment temporarily halted commuter rail service on several lines, including routes from Chicago to Aurora, Manhattan and Joliet.

Magliari says it's too early to say if weather caused the derailment.
