HAMBURG TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A 32-year-old man has drowned in a Livingston County lake after his all-terrain vehicle broke through the ice.

WHMI-FM, the Detroit Free Press and TV stations WDIV and WXYZ say the accident happened early Sunday on Ore Lake in Hamburg Township. That's about 35 miles west of Detroit.

Authorities say the Livingston County Dive Team found tracks leading to a hole in the ice and pulled Joseph Kratz from the water. He was rushed to the University of Michigan Medical Center, where he died.
