LEBANON, Ohio (AP) — Two southwest Ohio teenagers have been charged after being accused of sending or possessing nude photos over their cell phones, a practice known as "sexting."

Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel on Wednesday charged the two with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Hutzel calls the fad "disturbing and serious." But she doesn't think teens should be charged with a felony and labeled as sex offenders.

She wants legislators to write a law that does a better job of addressing the teen trend.

Authorities say the investigation began when Mason school officials confiscated a freshman boy's cell phone because he was using it during school hours, and nude images of girls popped up.
