DETROIT (AP) — A poll shows a majority of Michigan residents say Gov. Jennifer Granholm has done a poor job, while 56 percent list the national economy and employment as their top concern.

But 54 percent of 600 likely voters in the telephone poll conducted by EPIC-MRA for The Detroit News and WXYZ-TV give President Barack Obama a positive job rating.

Poll results released Tuesday show 63 percent of respondents give Granholm a negative job rating. That's not as low as the 66 percent the Democratic governor received in a June 2007 poll.

The latest poll was conducted March 19-22 and has a margin of error of 4 percentage points.

It also shows 69 percent believe Michigan is on the wrong track, while 54 percent say the same on a national level.
