Police continue to hunt for Noble County stabbing suspect

Police continued their search early Sunday for the suspect in a Noble County stabbing.

The stabbing was reported about 2:15 a.m. in the far southeastern part of the county, when a woman was attacked near Laotto, Ind., by a man she knew.

She was taken to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, where she remained for treatment, according to Noble County dispatch.

Law enforcement agencies including the Indiana State Police continued to look for the suspect, who may be headed to Indianapolis, police say.

He is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 205 pounds.

He was last seen driving a black Lexus with a paper temporary tag, police say.
