MONROE, Mich. (AP) — Investigators looking for a missing 5-year-old Monroe County girl want to question the driver of a green minivan that was parked at a school playground near where she last was seen.

Nevaeh (nuh-VAY'-uh) Buchanan last was seen May 24 in the parking lot of an apartment complex about 35 miles south-southwest of Detroit.

Sheriff Tilman Crutchfield says police are processing 800 tips.

He also says authorities have spoken with two young boys believed to have been at the playground that day. The boys and the person with the minivan were sought as potential witnesses.

Police earlier named 64-year-old James Easter as a person of interest, but District Judge Jack Vitale says authorities no longer consider him to be one.
