More than an hour later, area fire companies were still being asked to assist.

No injuries had been reported as firefighters continued to battle the flames.

According to information on the company Web site, the facility is more than 100,000 square feet and employees 164 people.

The automotive manufacturing company announced a bankruptcy filing at the end of May. Steuben County emergency dispatch had no immediate information on the current status of the plant and its employees.
