Semi rollover halts Toll Road traffic near Lake Station

A heavily traveled ramp from Interstate 80 onto the Toll Road was closed for several hours early Sunday following a truck mishap where the two merge.

The semi-truck rollover shut down the eastbound access, near Lake Station, Ind., about 11:20 p.m. CDT, according to Indiana State Police at the Lowell Post.

No one was injured in the single-vehicle crash, but the road was shut down for several hours while crews worked to clear the lanes.

The Toll Road ramp was reopened about 3 a.m., authorities said.
