CONSTANTINE, Mich. (AP) — A White Pigeon man driving to the scene of a motorcycle crash that injured his 18-year-old son ran a stop sign and caused a two-vehicle collision that injured himself and five other people.

Michigan State Police tell the Kalamazoo Gazette that 37-year-old Randall Criddle's vehicle was struck Tuesday at U.S. 131, about 80 miles south of Grand Rapids. Criddle and his two sons, 17-year-old Kenneth and 15-year-old Justin, were injured.

Eighteen-year-old Anthony Mott of Three Rivers was driving the second vehicle and was injured along with his 6-month-old daughter, Ava, and Mott's girlfriend, 19-year-old Aviel McClain.

All six people were taken to a nearby hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.

Criddle was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
