DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Officials say one man died and two co-workers were hurt when scaffolding collapsed at an Ohio construction project.

Spokesman Michael Racey for the Columbus suburb of Dublin says 52-year-old Wilbert Johnson of Columbus was killed in the accident late Wednesday morning at the site of the new corporate headquarters for natural gas supplier IGS Energy.

Racey says exactly what happened to the scaffold isn't clear, though something "gave way." The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration will investigate the death.

One of the injured was treated at a hospital and then released, the other was admitted with injuries that were not life threatening. Racey says all three were masons laying brick on the building.
