SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a California man at the Indiana Live Casino in Shelbyville.

Dilbag Singh had been arrested for public intoxication about 12:30 a.m. Thursday. He collapsed as officers were taking him to the gaming police office.

Police say CPR was performed on the 46-year-old Singh before he was transferred to Major Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Shelbyville police say an autopsy shows Singh apparently died from natural causes, but the incident remains under investigation.

Singh's hometown was not immediately available.
