CHICAGO (AP) — Funeral services have been held for a 9-year-old Chicago girl gunned down as she washed her family's dogs.

Mourners filed past Chastity Turner's casket one-by-one Friday at a South Side funeral home.

Turner was washing two pit bull terriers with her father, Andre Turner, when shots were fired at them late last month. She had just finished the third grade.

Three adults, including her father, were wounded in the shooting. Police have said Andre Turner may have been the target of the shooting.

Two Chicago teens have been charged in the shooting.
