BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (AP) — Police in Battle Creek say they've found the bodies of two men in the Kalamazoo River.

Sgt. Martin Brown says the bodies of the 41- and 43-year-old men were found Saturday morning. He says they were identified with fingerprints, but their names weren't immediately released pending notification of relatives.

Brown says autopsies were planned for next week, when a cause of death would be determined.

The Battle Creek Enquirer reports a small crowd watched as police began to retrieve the bodies.
