TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — A central Indiana woman was found dead a day after police issued an alert seeking the public's help in finding her.

Police say the body of 48-year-old Susan Diane Rourke of Ellettsville was found Sunday in Terre Haute. Rourke was last seen early Friday at a McDonald's restaurant in Ellettsville and a Silver Alert was issued for her on Saturday.

Terre Haute police Lt. Jeff Milner declined to immediately release any details about Rourke's death.

State police did not give a reason for issuing the Silver Alert, which can be issued when endangered adults go missing.

A 66-year-old Alzheimer's patient from Boonville was found dead in an apparent accidental drowning near her home hours after the state's first Silver Alert was put out last week.
