Police: Meth lab found next to bedroom of girl, 6

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Police in Kalamazoo County say they found a methamphetamine lab next to a bedroom where a 6-year-old girl slept.

The girl was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital to be looked at for possible exposure to the lab.

The Kalamazoo Gazette reports sheriff's deputies discovered the lab Monday evening.

Police tell WOOD-TV a search of the Comstock Township home turned up the lab and numerous meth-making components.

WWMT-TV reports two suspects are expected to face charges.
