Woman reports sex attack by other hospital patient

ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A 23-year-old patient at an Oakland County hospital says another patient sexually assaulted her.

Undersheriff Michael McCabe says the woman was a patient at Kingswood Hospital in Royal Oak Township, just north of Detroit.

McCabe reports the woman says a 23-year-old male patient attacked her. McCabe says the woman was taken to nearby Providence Hospital.

The Detroit Free Press says Kingswood Hospital declined comment.

McCabe says that's all authorities will say now because they're still conducting interviews.
