CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Google users looking for directions to the city that's home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame have been getting maps for "Colesville," Ohio, not Canton.

Google Inc. says people first started noticing and complaining on Friday about the naming error, which was still not corrected as of Tuesday morning. Elaine Filadelfo, a spokeswoman for Mountain View, Calif.-based Google, says the Web-browsing giant hopes to have Canton's name fixed within days, once several programs are reviewed and revised.

Filadelfo explains that the mistake was made last week when Google did some updating of its maps.

There is no actual Colesville, Ohio, though maps issued by the governor's office show the state does have a Colebrook, a Colerain and a Coletown.
