INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police say a truck driver delivering a shipment of liquor to an Indianapolis business was beaten and handcuffed by two men who then stole the refrigerated trailer.

The driver told officers he was waiting to have the 1,250 liquor cases unloaded early Friday when the gunmen wearing ski masks pulled him from the cab and attacked him. The men then disconnected the trailer and fled after attaching it to another tractor.

The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
