ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (AP) — Cook County authorities say a Palatine woman has been charged with secretly taking videos of a 14-year-old girl in a bathroom and sending them to a teenage boy the woman met on the Internet.

At a hearing Tuesday in Rolling Meadows, 45-year-old Mary Cordes-Michehl was charged with one count of manufacturing child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography.

Circuit Court Judge Joseph Urso set Cordes-Michehl's bond at $30,000.

Assistant State's Attorney Shilpa Patel said Cordes-Michehl met the 16-year-old boy on the Internet and exchanged sexually explicit messages. She said the woman told the boy about the 14-year-old and he asked her to send him naked pictures of the girl, which she did, using a small video camera contained in a pen.
