CARMEL, Ind. (AP) — Administrators say a suburban Indianapolis high school's student newspaper unknowingly published an advertisement from an apparent white supremacist group.

The ad in Friday's edition of the Carmel High School paper promoted free music downloads, but directed students to a Web site with anti-Semitic information, downloads of a neo-Nazi novel and the writings of a former Ku Klux Klan leader.

School administrators sent out a mass voice mail to parents Friday, warning them about the Web site.

Principal John Williams called the situation "an inadvertent mistake" and said the school was embarrassed by the oversight. He said the school was considering legal action.
