A robbery suspect that the Halifax County Sheriff's Office considered to be armed and dangerous surrendered Friday.
Investigators had been looking for 25-year-old Eric Davis. He called the Halifax County Sheriff's Office today and said he was willing to turn himself in.
Deputies went to his home in Nathalie, and arrested him around 3:30 p.m.

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man wanted for robbing several people, and stealing guns.
Investigators say 25-year-old Eric Davis should be considered armed and dangerous. A search was conducted near Davis' home in Nathalie on Wednesday, but investigators were unable to find him. The search included a state police helictopter and tracking dogs.
Davis may be driving a late 1980s or early 1990s brown Chevrolet Caprice.
If you come across Davis, police ask that you call them right away.

-- The Halifax County Sheriff's Office and the Virginia State Police are seeking the whereabouts of Eric Lamont Davis, who lists his address as Pumping Hill Rd., Nathalie. Davis, a black male, age 25, is 5' 7" tall, and weighs approximately 165 lbs. He is wanted on several robbery ( of a person ), firearms, and grand larceny charges. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Davis may be traveling in a late 1980's to early 1990's-model brown Chevrolet Caprice. Last night ( 5/23/12 ), deputies and a state police tactical unit, along with tracking dogs and a state police helicopter, searched an area near Davis' home, but were unable to locate him.
