The Roanoke Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has a new CEO.
Denise Hayes has been serving as the chief operationg officer at Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline.
She will replace Kandy Elliott, who has been the interim director since August.
She starts her new role in February.
