ROANOKE COUNTY, Va.—
Two Roanoke County schools will have new principals in the fall.
The Roanoke County School Board has selected Ashley McCallum as the new principal at Green Valley Elementary.
McCallum, who currently is the principal at Masons Cove Elementary, previously served as the assistant principal at Green Valley.
She replaces Tammy Newcomb who earlier was named the principal at William Byrd Middle School.
The Roanoke County School Board has also named Phyllis Satterfield as the new principal at Masons Cove Elementary.
Satterfield replaces Ashley McCallum who was named the principal at Green Valley Elementary.
