A new poll shows many people in Virginia are supportive of more funding for public schools.
The poll, conducted by Virginia Commonwealth University , shows 64 % of Virginians believe schools do not have enough funds to meet their needs, while only 24 % say schools have enough funding.
69 % of Virginias says they're willing to pay more in taxes to keep public schools funded at the current level.
The poll also finds that about 65 % of Virginia residents believe state colleges and universities are doing a good job of producing graduates with skills that will be useful in obtaining a job.
