A woman from Warm Springs is dead after a car crash Saturday morning.
Virginia State Police say Elizabeth Wilfong was driving a truck on Route 220 when she lost control, ran off the road, and hit several trees.
Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the crash and that she wasn't wearing a seat belt.

The Virginia State Police are continuing their investigation into a single vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday morning around 11:30 a.m. on Route 220 approximately 1.2 miles north of Route 614 in Bath County.
The investigation revealed that a 1996 Ford F-150 pick up truck that was being operated by Elizabeth Ann Wilfong, age 44, of Warm Springs, Va. was traveling northbound when she lost control on the wet road and ran off the right side of the roadway striking several trees.
Wilfong was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
