NEW YORK (PIX11)—Despite Sunday's rain, thousands of New Yorkers turned out for the 30th Annual Dominican Day Parade.

With flags outpacing umbrellas, and costumes outnumbering rain ponchos, Dominicans of all races, for a day showed their true, vibrant colors, sharing one islands light, with anothers.
