Witness Defends His Own Actions During Subway Molestation [GRAPHIC]

This video taken on the 4 train over the weekend is nothing short of shocking and horrifying.  A groping creep is seen sexually assaulting a woman while she was asleep sometime around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning while video was taken by another passenger, Jasheem Smiley.

There were 10 other people on the train with me but I was the only one who took charge,” Smiley told PIX News.   “I went to the conductor and I notified them that someone was getting sexually assaulted.”

Smiley posted the video on the web, hoping someone would recognize the man and call police,

but smiley himself has gotten a lot of slack for not doing something more than just taking video of the awful act.

“They weren’t there in my shoes to witness what was going on, and it’s 3:30 in the morning.  I’m not sure what this guy is capable of, he could have had a gun,  he could have had a knife,” Smiley said.  “I need to protect myself in order to help her; the MTA always says ‘when you see something, say something,’ and I did.”

Smiley says the man got on the subway at 96^th street, but by the time Smiley notified the conductor and an NYPD officer the man had already left the train somewhere around 23^rd or 14^th street.

“This guy is out there just running around, I don’t know who else he did this to.”
