MILFORD – An accused child molester is behind bars in Kosciusko County.
Police on Monday arrested 31-year-old Kent Flannery of Milford, who investigators say has confessed to the crime.
Town Marshal Rich Miotto says his department began an investigation into alleged accounts of a possible child who had been molested by a family member on October 18.
Child Protective Services brought the information to Milford police and said Flannery may have been involved in a series of inappropriate acts with a child since 2008.
Flannery has been booked on one count of felony child molestation with a victim less than 14-years-old. He’s currently in the Kosciusko County Jail on $20,000 bond.
Due to the sensitivity of the case, the name and age of the victim are not being released.
