MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) — A church in Mount Clemens served as a polling place has been spray-painted with anti-black graffiti.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon at Divine Restoration Ministries. The graffiti include pictures of babies and an anti-black slur.
Bishop-Elect James Richard Evans Sr. says he believes the graffiti attack was made because of the election.
WXYZ-TV (http://bit.ly/SSPeJH ) says Mayor Barb Dempsey and city and commissioners plan to attend a community meeting about the incident Wednesday night at the church.
