WATERVLIET Twp. – Police say an 87-year-old Benton Harbor man died and three others were injured in a Watervliet Twp. crash Thursday.
This happened just before 9 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene to find two vehicles upside down on I-94 near exit 41. Police say the crash happened on the west onramp at the top of the hill.
According to police, a vehicle driven by Robert McCoy, 87, was rear-ended by Joan Muske, 67, of Watervliet. Muske and her two passengers were taken to the hospital along with McCoy.
McCoy passed away at the hospital.
Weather was not a factor in this crash, say police. The investigation is ongoing.
