ST. JOSEPH, MI – A court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning in the case against a Berrien County teenager charged with murdering her boyfriend.
Police say 17-year-old Destiny Coulson shot and killed 21-year-old David Quinn, Jr. in January after a night of drinking and fighting near Eau Claire.
Wednesday's hearing is to determine if Coulson will be tried as an adult. Last month a judge found her competent to stand trial.
If Coulson is tried as an adult and found guilty, she could be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
