On Monday night the Elkhart City Council passed a $52 million budget for next year. It cuts at least eight positions, and all city employees will face furloughs - three days for police and fire and five-day furloughs for everyone else.

Included in the cuts, the mayor's assistant. But Arvis Dawson tells us he's not the only one cut.

Also gone, the director of the Tolson Center and the Railroad Museum, along with a police officer and a firefighter.

The budget now goes to Mayor Dick Moore, who could veto it.
