Two people are in custody after a man was found dead in a house in the 1100 block of East Bowman Street late Friday night.
The victim, a white male, was found by South Bend Police and then St. Joseph County Metro Homicide officers were called to the scene.
Neither the victim's name nor names of those arrested have been released by police.
No other information about the homicide, including how the man died, has yet been made public.
Dave Wells, Metro Homicide assistant commander issued a statement Saturday morning indicating the two people in custody were arrested in connection with the "wrongful death of the victim."
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office will decide if and when formal charges are filed.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday morning.
