GROSSE ILE, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say they've found a body in the Detroit River off Grosse Ile, but there's no immediate word on whether it's related to the search for a man who fell while working on the Ambassador Bridge.

The U.S. Coast Guard says the body was found about 3 p.m. Monday. The island is about 10 miles downstream from the bridge.

On Wednesday, 27-year-old painter Ken Morton of Garden City disappeared after falling about 150 feet into the Detroit River while performing work on bridge that links Detroit and Windsor, Ontario.

The U.S. Coast Guard led a search, which involved boats and a helicopter. A Detroit police dive team also was called in.
