MISHAWAKA—
Someone thought a package on top of a Dumpster at Candlewood Apartments, St. Andrews Circle, was ticking and called 911 just after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Mishawaka Police Lt. Tim Williams confirmed to WSBT the South Bend Police Bomb Squad was called to the scene and "neutralized" the package just before 11 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
The box contained several television remote controls.
