The saying "cats have nine lives" may just ring true for one cat living in one of the homes hit by a small jet last Sunday.

We're told construction worker Harvey Jackson was knocking down the wall of Patricia Kobalski's home today when he saw the cat -- named Zuul -- jump out.

He says it looked like it was stuck between a couple of walls.

Someone grabbed the cat and gave it to a neighbor, who rushed it to a local veterinarian's clinic.

Jackson says aside from a leg injury, the cat looked okay.

"It jumped out and jumped down the corner and I didn't want the wrecking ball to hit it so I just stopped immediately to try to get down there and try to get it," said Jackson.

Patricia and her 6-year-old son were inside their home when the jet came crashing through their house late Sunday afternoon. Miraculously they were unhurt, but their cat went missing.

Kobalski's home was the third one hit by the jet. It has since been demolished.

Former Oklahoma University quarterback Steve Davis, 60; and 58-year-old Wesley Caves of Tulsa, Oklahoma, were both on the plane and were killed. Two others on board and a person on the ground were injured.
