Family, friends and her Elkhart community say goodbye today to 7-year-old Kristyana Jackson. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. at Agape Missionary Baptist Chuch, 248 W. Wolf Ave., Eklhart.
She and her father were shot during a home invasion attempt on Aug. 17. Kristyana died Sunday at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Her father, who was shot three times, was treated and later released from Elkhart General Hospital.
Kristyana was a second grade student at Mary Daly Elementary School.
