The Indiana Court of Appeals says a former LaPorte High School volleyball coach should go to trial on charges she failed to report another coach who was involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old player.
Last year a judge sentenced 48-year-old Robert Ashcraft to 21 years in prison for sexual misconduct and child seduction.
Attorneys argued the charges against MaryBeth Lebo were vague and barred by the two-year statute of limitations.
Lebo can appeal to the Indiana Supreme Court.
