ELKHART COUNTY — It was a scary moment in a quiet neighborhood, after witnesses say a Craigslist deal went wrong. Police say two men held a young man at gunpoint, and then bound his hands, feet and mouth with duct tape. It happened around 2 p.m. in an Inwood Court home, just east of Elkhart. The victim says he was showing the two robbers a couple of laptop computers, a TV, and a video game console that he had been trying to sell on the ad Web site, Craigslist.org. That's when the victim says one of them pulled out a gun, threw him in the basement and tied him up with duct tape. The entire time, another young man was asleep in the next room. "I heard them talking, but I was like 'oh they’re over,' so I just kind of passed back out, because he's never had trouble before, so I didn't figure they were going to rob him,” Aaron Kleinman said. The victim says the robbers took at least $2,000 dollars worth of electronics.
