Deer hunters across Indiana and Michigan likely set an early alarm clock Sunday night -- Deer bow hunting season begins Monday.
This special portion of hunting season is reserved for archery-type weapons only.
Opening day for firearms season isn't until November 17.
But there is worry this year that Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHD) is killing off a portion of the deer population in both states.
EHD is typically fatal to deer and is especially a problem this fall because of this summer's dry, hot weather.
