HAGERSTOWN, Ind. (AP) — Court documents show that an eastern Indiana man added to Indiana's sex offender registry after molesting a 13-year-old girl in 2000 served ice cream to students on two occasions this spring at an elementary school.

Forty-nine-year-old Murvel A. Tutterrow of Economy faces two counts of unlawful employment near children for the incidents at Hagerstown Elementary School.

The Palladium-Item of Richmond reports (http://bit.ly/ncfc7E) Tutterrow was released from the Wayne County Jail last week after posting bond.

Nettle Creek superintendent Joe Backmeyer says the school does not intend to discipline anyone involved in the incident.

Tutterrow was convicted in February 2000 of molesting a 13-year-old girl in June and July 1996 and sentenced to 10 years with four suspended. He's required to remain on the sex offender registry until 2012.
