It was an emotional morning in Elkhart Circuit Court as the man who pleaded guilty to killing two teenage cyclists was sentenced.

Daniel Snead, 42, admitted smoking meth-laced marijuana the morning he struck 18-year-old David Anglemyer and 19-year-old Daniel Runion.

Both victims were riding their bikes along County Road 20 early on June 8 of last year when they were struck by a car Snead was driving

Snead will serve 18 years in prison followed by 3 years probation for causing death while under the influence of drugs.

We'll hear from the mothers of both victims tonight on WSBT News at 5.
